Difficulty Level & Children:

Easy. Suitable for children who can walk and hike independently for 3-4h. Minimum age 6 years. Children between 6y and 10y pay only 50% of the tour price (pls leave a comment when you book, so we can adjust the package price accordingly). Booking is for 2 adults minimum.

Tour Itinerary

• 07.00 am – Pick up from your Hotel (exact time depends on your location)
• 09.00 am – Arrive at our Trekking Point & start the tour
• 11.30 am – end of Jungle Trek, go to Farmer’s House
• 12.00 noon – Explore Coffee Plantation, Cooking Presentation and Lunch in a traditional Setting. Coffee Roasting Presentation.
• 03.00 pm – Finish and drive back to Hotel.
• 05.00 to 06.00 pm – Drop-off at your Hotel depending on your location

Tour Description

We will pick you up at the hotel where you stay at around 07.00 – 7:30 depending on your location (will be confirmed after you make the booking).  We will drive directly to Tamblingan Lake and start with the Jungle Trekking around 9am.  We will cross Lake Tamblingan by Traditional Dugout canoe. We will visit an old temple inside the Jungle and explore the nature around. After the Trek we will visit the home of a local farmer and explore his organic coffee plantation.

The Balinese say: “Mai singgah malu – ngopi “ meaning “lets make a quick stop to enjoy a cup of coffee”. These words are usually spoken to family, a neighbor or relatives who passes by. Having a coffee together is part of the daily life and culture of the people in this region. Therefore, before we will invite you for your traditional lunch you will enjoy a cup of the best of our local coffee. We will take you on a quick tour through the plantation that is still managed traditionally by this Balinese family. were you will see the unique fauna and flora of this region. With almost four hectares of coffee plants, this hilly but very fertile soil allows just about every tropical tree, plant, flower or vegetable to grow easily, such as bananas, cacao, taro, jackfruit, clove, palm sugar trees, herbs, and many more. We grow Robusta & Arabica coffee beans. You will be introduced to the coffee farming process and see how the beans are roasted in a traditional manner. You will receive a bag of 100gr of coffee powder as a souvenir.

• Solid shoes (no sandals)

• Rain Jacket if possible or a Jumper (it might get a bit fresh in the highlands)

• Drinking bottle if you have one

Terms, Cancellation & Payment

Please book at least 24h before so the necessary arrangements can be made. After your booking through this website, the organizer will send you a paypal request or discuss with you deposit or payment at time of pick-up.

Free Cancellation up to 24h before the tour. Later than this clients will be charged 50%. If weather conditions are too bad clients can move the booking to another date free of charge. The tours are always happening, even if it’s raining.
